Background.

Assignment.

In the Netherlands, extreme weather causes significant damage every year. Allianz Direct wanted to inform customers promptly in such situations and help mitigate risks. The goal was to turn an unpredictable moment into a form of service-oriented communication — personal, relevant, and without any commercial intent.

Design a dynamic header for an email campaign that automatically responds to current weather conditions. Each version — storm, hail, or slippery roads — needed to clearly communicate the situation and alert customers in a friendly manner.

For each weather type, we developed a unique, animated header that allowed customers to literally experience the weather — from strong winds to slippery roads. The style remained recognizably Allianz Direct: personal, clear, and service-oriented.

The campaign increased engagement and enhanced the perceived value of the communication. Customers not only felt warned but also supported, demonstrating that personalization is effective even in preventive communication.
